🔻 Meralco vs Magnolia PBA Li.ve Game Today 2025 HD (0-0)
Defending champions Meralco Bolts look to hop back on the winning column in the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup, taking on the undefeated Magnolia Hotshots. The Meralco Bolts look to shrug off fatigue and frustration as they face the undefeated Magnolia Hotshots in the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup on Wednesday, May 14.
Game time is set at 7:30 p.m. at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Coming off a tough 84-101 loss to TNT, the Bolts (3-4) will be tested yet again—this time by the scorching-hot Hotshots (5-0), who remain the only unbeaten team in the conference.
Meralco managed to hang tough against the Tropang 5G until the fourth quarter, where they were buried by RR Pogoy’s 16-point explosion.
Despite the result, there were positives for Meralco. Cliff Hodge had his best offensive outing yet with 23 points, while Chris Newsome added 18 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals, continuing to be a steady presence on both ends.
Still, the Bolts will need more if they hope to hand Magnolia its first loss of the tournament.
Wednesday’s matchup will be Meralco’s third game in six days, a taxing stretch that comes just weeks before the Bolts represent the PBA and the Philippines in the Basketball Champions League Asia.
