🔻 Rain or Shine vs TNT PBA Li.ve Game Today 2025 HD (0:0)

TNT and Rain or Shine renew their developing rivalry on Wednesday. The two have faced each other in the playoffs in the last three conferences, with the Tropang 5G winning the last two - both coming in the semifinals with a team led by Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, who eventually brought them to the championship.

RAIN OR SHINE VS. TNT

When: Wednesday, May 21. 7:30 p.m.
Where: Ynares Center – Antipolo

Expect Rain or Shine to bank on its depth, chemistry, and physicality as the Elasto Painters look to stretch their PBA Philippine Cup winning streak to three against TNT.

Rain or Shine will try to extend its winning run and strengthen its bid for a top four spot when it battles TNT Tropang 5G in the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup on Wednesday, May 21.

Gametime is set at 7:30 p.m. at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

The Elasto Painters (4-2) are riding a wave of momentum, fresh off a 119-105 stunner over previously unbeaten Magnolia last May 18

Buoyed by its massive win that put a halt to Magnolia’s perfect start in the PBA Philippine Cup, Rain or Shine is aching for more.

The Elasto Painters are hoping to do so on Wednesday at the expense of the TNT Tropang 5G, whose Grand Slam quest is facing another adversity with Rey Nambatac sidelined by a groin injury.

TNT and Rain or Shine square off in a game between teams which have been on a roll as of late in the PBA 49th Season Philippine Cup. They also meet again following their battles in the playoffs.

Struggling teams Meralco and Blackwater battle as well in the first game of Wednesday’s double-header at the Ynares Center-Antipolo.

Why the Tropang Giga and Elasto Painters will be a all about defense against offense, and more in this preview of the two matches.

And coach Yeng Guiao didn’t hide the fact that the absence of Nambatac in the 7:30 p.m. contest at Ynares Center in Antipolo City is something that Rain or Shine, which is aiming to improve its 4-2 win-loss slate, should take advantage.

“It’s a big break for us,” Guiao said of the absence of Nambatac, who will be out for four to six weeks after getting hurt more than a week ago against Meralco.

TNT has been in a good run of form of late, with three straight wins after a 0-3 start. But missing Nambatac will further compound the big hole caused by Jayson Castro’s knee injury during the Commissioner’s Cup semifinals, incidentally also against Rain or Shine.
